26. Small Business Saturday
So, with Black Friday & Cyber Monday always being so popular, I was stoked when I found out about Small Business Saturday last year. Basically it's just a day to shop at small, local places and show them the appreciation they deserve.
Most of the time, these places can't afford to do a HUGE blow out B.F. sale, but don't forget them. They're the people who didn't want to sell out, who are sticking to their dreams and making them work ~ even in this economy!
I'm thankful for it because it gives me a chance to remind myself to stop and check out all the places that line our Main Street, to have lunch at a local place, and to appreciate my own small business customers.
So if you all are looking for something to do, somewhere to eat, etc ~ check out someplace small & local ~ support small business today!! =]
